# Assistance Required for FLAC3D 9.0 IMASS Constitutive Modeling in Underground Strata Caving

Dear Itasca Community,

I am currently working on **underground strata caving simulations** using **FLAC3D 9.0** and exploring the **IMASS constitutive model** for better representation of rock mass behavior during caving. I would appreciate any guidance on:

1. Proper implementation of the **IMASS model** for simulating progressive caving.
2. Defining input parameters and calibrating them based on field conditions.
3. Best practices for **numerical stability** and convergence in large-scale caving models.
4. Relevant documentation, tutorials, or example models to aid in learning.

Additionally, I am keen to enhance my understanding of FLAC3D 9.0 for advanced geomechanical simulations. Any recommendations for learning resources, courses, or practical tips from experienced users would be highly valuable.
