# Direct shear test simulation in PFC

Respected Sir/Madam,

I am trying to simulate Direct shear test and not getting force on y-displacement as the model is in 2D. Can anyone let me know what i am currently doin wrong in the model as I am attaching my code.

I will be eagerly waiting for any response.

Hello @ShivamPandey

I haven’t looked at your model files, but if you have not seen [this](https://docs.itascasoftware.com/itasca950/pfc/pfcmodule/doc/manual/wall_manual/wall_commands/cmd_wall_servo.html?node4870) (scroll to the bottom of the page) example in the documentation, you may find it helpful as it shows a brief example of a PFC2D direct shear test using wall servos.
