Characteristic time of the diffusion process

Hi Itascans!

With the intention of applying the corresponding approach for a fluid-mechanical calculation, I am trying to get the characteristic time for a fluid flow model. Does the value of the fish command ‘zone.fluid.time.total’ directly give me the characteristic time, tc?

Please refer to the doc on characteristic time.
The doc on zone.fluid.time.total clearly says it is the total accumulated zone module fluid time, not the characteristic time.
