Hello,
3DEC has functions and commands for percolation calculation such as “fracture.percolation” and “fracture compute percolation,” but I can’t understand how it calculates this index and what it is based on. Is there any bibliography?
Best regards

The equations can be found here: fracture compute command — Itasca Software 9.0 documentation
But I’m not sure where these came from. @r.legoc ?

You’ll find a description of the percolation parameter and its relation to DFN connectivity property in those two references: Bour, O. and Davy, P. (1998). On the connectivity of three-dimensional fault networks. Water Resour.Res., 34(10), 2611–2622., ; de Dreuzy, J. R., Davy, P., and Bour, O. (2000).
