I wanted to ask about the “Movie Viewer” extension for FLAC, which is available for download on the ITASCA page. What does it consist of? What benefits does it offer? How is it used?
It’s used to play old movie files (*.dcx) created by FLAC 7.0 and previous versions. The old dcx format for movie has been dumped since FLAC8.0, instead of creating a dcx file for movie, a series of PNG files will be created and a 3rd party software is needed to create a movie clip using those PNG files.
