My model is taking so long to reach to initial equilibrium state in FLAC 3D… Is there any way to reach the convergence faster apart from changing the convergence criteria itself?

This is a very general question from which it is very hard to give you a helpful answer.
For example, it is very possible (and if your problem is the initial equilibrium I would assume very probable) that there is some mistake in your boundary conditions and/or initial conditions. Therefore it is possible that the code has to make a lot of calculation steps to relax the model and even then a problem in the boundary conditions can lead to a “wrong” equilibrium.
Again, its hard to tell without any details, but I would suggest you check your setup. When properly configured and initialized, the initial equilibrium should usually only take a few steps.
