I have a problem when using more than one command to generate a mesh, the displacements are very different. The image on the right uses only the “radial-cylinder” command, while the image on the left uses the “cylindrical-shell” and “radial-cylinder” commands. What causes this problem? Is it a mesh problem? (stress ratio = 1 in both cases)

Is there any reason to apply a constant stress = 100MPa on the east boundary? Since you have gravity = 9.81, I would have expected a gradient for the face apply normal-stress condition. Also, when passing the command “zone initialize-stress” the overburden keyword should be used, given the apply normal-stress that is used on the top boundary.
