Null Stress during Initialization

Hello everyone,
Has anyone ever encountered zones showing zero stress during the initialization phase?
I’m trying to figure out where this might come from, but I’m running out of ideas…
the issue seems to disappear and then reappear

It seems that some zones are located at the apex of the yield surface. Since you have set the tensile strength to zero, the allowable stress state returned from the apex is also zero. This can be caused by factors such as a steep slope. Alternatively, some zones may experience local instability due to the input material parameters and the model geometry (e.g., the slope).

For sloped terrain, the stress initialization command may not be appropriate, as it is generally intended for relatively level ground with confined boundaries.

Okay I see, it’s a model with a very bad lithology
Thank you @cheng
