Plastic Hardening Model in FLAC3d

Hi all, what is a possible reason for this Error in FLAC3D (Plastic-Hardening model: Eoed_ref is too small upon other parameters.),if I assign the stiffness parameters as described in this figure? Thanks in advance:)

From the data, you input coefficient-normally-consolidation (K0) = 1.0, which seems not common. In other words, the inputs parameters cannot reproduce this coefficient-normally-consolidation value during a virtual (internal) oedometer test simulation. Try reducing this parameter into, say, 0.8, 0.7, 0.6; or reducing stiffness-oedometer-reference, or both.

I have all the stiffness parameter ( E-50, Eoed, E ur ) for my plastic hardening model but I do not have pressure-reference value. Can I assume P ref = 100 Kpa ? Will it create any problem? If yes, is there any way to estimate Pressure ref just based on these values?

“Pressure-reference” is not a “real” material parameter. It is used to normalize the base (make the base unitless) of a power form formulation. It usually (but not necessarily) takes the value of standard atmospheric pressure, e.g., 100 kPa if your model stress/pressure unit is kPa, or 1e5 Pa if your model stress/pressure unit is Pa.
