I received the following error message:
I created a shell element for tunnel lining using the DKT-CSTH element, and it was successfully created and saved. However, after restoring the saved files and running the script that includes the shell properties, I encountered the error message.
What could be the problem?
Dear ppk, The error message indicates that there is a problem forming the element stiffness matrix. I have never seen this error, and I developed this logic, and this element has been available since the early 2000’s. I suspect that the material properties are unreasonable, or may have been corrupted during the save/restore process. The only way that I can help you is for you to send me a data file that produces this problem. The data file should build a small model, if possible.
