I’m facing an error when I’m trying to solve the model.
I created a axisynmetric model with a shell element.
When I’m trying to solve the model, there is an error indicating me to assign the radius or perimeter for the shell element.
I go back to check the properties of the shell element. There is no such input.
Is there any solution? I’m using FLAC2D 8.1.

Is there any structure node located on the axisymmetric line?
Yes, I created two layers of soil and put a shell element between them.
I think one node of the shell element should be on the axisymmetric line to represent the problem. I’m modeling a layer of geosynthetic reinforcement for pavement foundation.

Try moving x coordinate of that node to x=0.01, just avoid putting any node on the axisymmetric line.
