Lubrication effect

Hello everyone,
I am trying to model the lubrication effect of water on sand particles and friction between them in PFC 3D. Is there a contact model capable of capturing this behavior in PFC?

Hello @mehrdad,

I am not familiar with any contact model that addresses this kind of effect. Here is a list of all contact models in PFC 7.0. And here is some documentation on developing your own contact model for PFC.
