PFC2D 9.0 - Structural elements

Dear all,
I hope you are doing well.

This question is focused on the structural elements of PFC from V7.0.
I understand that structural elements only work on PFC3D from V 7.0.
I am interested in using structural elements and I prefer the speed and simplicity of PFC2D to the ‘accuracy’ offered by PFC3D when simulating chaotic pollycrystalline materials.

My question is, does PFC2D V 9.0 support structural elements?
If yes, do all commands follow the same structure as FLAC2D?
Where can I find some documentation/examples?

As far as I know beam-type structural elements can interact with PFC 2D balls, however, there is no examples or docs on this subject.
