This is about the example application of FLAC 3D “Emb loading on cam clay foundation”.
In this example, the fluid time-total has been considered for drained condition, So Can this not be considered consolidation?
Can we simulate consolidation of soft soil by turning the fluid biot off" ?
Is it mandatory to use biot coefficient to simulate consolidation process?
