Hi. This is just a general question towards all Itasca software. How can I run Itasca software as console program, i.e. without using the integrated GUI?
Hello, yes you can run any of the software in console mode. You have the console executable in the installation folder “exe64”.
I find the easiest way to use Itasca software in console is to add the console executable directory to the paths in your system environment variables, and then you will be able to launch directly from cmd prompt in any directory.
Hi,
Is it also possible to run a code from a cmd prompt and see results in GUI ? I can run my codes in sublime text but only short ones for tests
Thanks in advance
Yes, you can in console model and save results into some save files. To see/visualize the results, start the GUI mode, restore a save file, add plots to visualize the results.
