Hi everyone,

In the discussion section of the tutorial, it says, “Contacts intersecting fractures are assigned the smoothjoint contact model, and their properties are set.” However, I couldn’t find anything about this in the .dat files about setting properties. Am I missing something?

Hello @eneszengin,
It looks like that is an incorrect statement in the tutorial. The contacts intersecting the fractures are assigned the smooth-joint contact model with the fracture contact-model model ‘smoothjoint’ install command. However, to actually assign properties you would need to use the fracture property command.
